Gladys Wilma Peterson

Gladys Wilma Peterson was born on 14 Sep 1900 in South Dakota as the second child of Lars John Peterson and Delena Belle Hibbs. She had six siblings, namely: Florence Lenore, Carl Albert, Cecil Theodore, Ruby Estella, (Martha) Opal May, and (David) Floyd August. She died on 09 Mar 1989 in California.  When she was 19, she married LeRoy DeWitt on 21 Sep 1919.

LeRoy DeWitt was born on 22 Mar 1897. He died on 07 Jun 1965 in California. When he was 22, he married Gladys Wilma Peterson, daughter of Lars John Peterson and Delena Belle Hibbs, on 21 Sep 1919.

  1. Donald LeRoy DeWitt was born on 08 Aug 1920 in Rapid City, South Dakota. He died on 15 May 1981 in Duluth, Minnesota. He married Marian Addison on 12 Feb 1944.
  2. Florence Marie DeWitt was born on 11 Jul 1921 at Folsom, South Dakota. She died May 2001. She married Justus Westover 26 Jan 1938.
  3. Lillian Fae (twin) DeWitt was born on 21 Dec 1922 in South Dakota. She married Stanley Luba in 1941.
  4. Rosa Mae (twin) DeWitt was born on 21 Dec 1922 in South Dakota. She died in Apr 1974. She married Oscar Tamsen on 21 Sept 1941.
  5. Richard Earl DeWitt was born on 28 Apr 1925 in South Dakota. He died on 11 Aug 1997. He married Vivian Davis on 30 Nov 1946.
