The lady in the black dress is Katrina Bryngelsdotter Anderson who was married to Lars (Lasse) Anderson. Lars was killed at 31 years of age in the Civil War on 02 February 1865 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Katrina was the mother of Andrew Peter who changed his last name to Stomberg.  This was in keeping with Swedish laws which allowed the eldest son to take the mother’s father’s last name.  Katrina was the daughter of Bryngel Stomberg.  Andrew Peter Stomberg was the father of Alvin, George, Esther, and Elli.
