(David) Floyd August Peterson was born on 28 Apr 1913 in Folsom as the seventh child of Lars John Peterson and Delena Belle Hibbs. He had six siblings, namely: Florence Lenore, Gladys Wilma, Carl Albert, Cecil Theodore, Ruby Estella, and (Martha) Opal May. He died on 18 Aug 1983 in Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton, South Dakota.
