Britta Stina Anderson
Britta Stina Anderson was born on 14 Nov 1857 in West Union as the second child of Lasse Anderson and Katrina Bryngelsdotter. She had three siblings, namely: Andrew Peter, August, and Svante Lars. She died on 13 Jul 1924. When she was 20, she married John L. Mellgren, son of Lars Mikaelsson and Caisa Swensdotter, on 17 Feb 1878.

John L. Mellgren was born on 21 Jan 1849 in Smolland, Sweden as the seventh child of Lars Mikaelsson and Caisa Swensdotter. When he was 29, he married Britta Stina Anderson, daughter of Lasse Anderson and Katrina Bryngelsdotter, on 17 Feb 1878.

Emma Anderson married Gerhard Mellgren on 31 Dec 1917 and Ada Brahee married Alvin Stomberg 22 Nov 1915.
Florence Mellgren, a sister of Gerhard’s, married Oscar Brahee on 14 Sep 1921. Oscar was a brother of Ada’s.
