Anna Charlotte Mellgren was born in 1879 as the first child of John L. Mellgren and Britta Stina Anderson. She had eleven siblings, namely: Algot Levin, Gerhard Vitalis, Anna Victoria, Lydia Eleonora, Florence Eleanor, Theodore Nathanael, Adolph Anskarius, Walter Edward, Esther Emelia, Gilbert George, and Clarence Filmore. She died in 1880.
