Algot Levin Mellgren

Algot Levin Mellgren was born on 23 Feb 1880 in Carver Co, Minnesota as the second child of John L. Mellgren and Britta Stina Anderson. He had eleven siblings, namely: Anna Charlotte, Gerhard Vitalis, Anna Victoria, Lydia Eleonora, Florence Eleanor, Theodore Nathanael, Adolph Anskarius, Walter Edward, Esther Emelia, Gilbert George, and Clarence Filmore. He died on 16 Mar 1939 in Worthington, Minnesota. When he was 28, he married Hanna Alvida Johnson, daughter of Gustaf Johnson, on 21 Oct 1908. When he was 50, he married Martha Kindlund in 1931.

 Algot Levin Mellgren was buried in Worthington Cemetery.

Hanna Alvida (Johnson) Mellgren

Hanna Alvida Johnson was born on 03 Apr 1880 as the first child of Gustaf Johnson. She died on 28 Oct 1923. When she was 28, she married Algot Levin Mellgren, son of John L. Mellgren and Britta Stina Anderson, on 21 Oct 1908.

Algot Levin Mellgren and Hanna Alvida Johnson had the following children:

  1. Constance Eloise Matilda Mellgren was born about 1913. She died on 14 Feb 1922.
  2. Carl Raymond Mellgren was born on 16 Jun 1915. He died on 02 Jan 1973. He married Alice Julia Davis (Curwick) on 10 Jan 1936.
  3. Marion Helen Mellgren was born on 07 Apr 1918. She died on 06 Apr 2002. She married Reuben Joseph Swanson on 09 Apr 1976.

Algot Levin Mellgren and Martha Kindlund had no children.
